The record begins
Every archive has a first line. This is the working record of Bionia — where entries begin as drafts and, when they hold, are fixed into canon.
Every archive has a first line. This is it.
The Bionian record is kept in three parts. Canon is fixed: glossary entries in the four-part house style — Definition, Derivation, Synonym Study, Word Study — each traced to a Proto-Bionian root that predates Earth language. Lore is remembered: histories and fragments as they surface, allowed to be uncertain. And this, the blog, is the working record, where everything begins as a draft.
Two worlds shared one sky. Nine hundred and ninety-seven million years ago the Dyad burned from within.
Entries filed under Canon or Lore here will appear automatically on those pages. When an entry holds, it is promoted into the fixed record.
Reconstructed roots are written in the notation *dwo — the asterisk kept from Earth's historical linguistics, but pointing the other way.
