Etymology and language
The glossary deliberately inverts real historical linguistics for creative purposes: reconstructed roots of Proto-Indo-European, Proto-Sino-Tibetan and other Earth languages are presented within the fiction as descendants of an invented “Proto-Bionian” tongue. This is a narrative device. It is not a claim about the actual origin of any language, and the Site should not be cited as a linguistic source.
